• ¼ cup butter, softened
• 1 TBSP maple syrup
• 1 ½ cups icing sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla essence
• 1 cup chopped glazed cherries
• 1 packet of chocolate melts
• 2 tsp olive oil
• Pot, heatproof bowl,baking paper, flat tray
Soften butter and add maple syrup.
Stir in icing sugar, vanilla and cherries, and mix until combined.
Roll the filling into balls and place in the fridge for one hour.
Melt chocolate over a double boiler – by heating up hot water in a pot, and placing a glass heatproof dish inside it, and then add oil to the chocolate as it melts.
Dip balls in chocolate and place back in the fridge to set.
