MY EASY PRAWN DUMPLINGS
Everyone was like, “No way you made those!”
But I DID and honestly, they were so easy!
I didn’t really measure anything, I just threw it all together, but here’s roughly what I used:
For the filling:
• Fresh prawns, chopped up nice and small
• Lots of spring onion, finely chopped
• Fresh ginger, grated
• A good splash of sesame oil
• A little soy sauce
• A teaspoon or so of cornflour
• Fresh coriander
• A little soy sauce
• Salt and pepper
• Wonton wrappers
Mix your chopped prawns, spring onion, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, cornflour, coriander and garlic together.
Heat a little olive oil in a non-stick frying pan.
Spoon little piles of the prawn mixture into the pan, then place a wonton wrapper over each one and gently press it down.
Let the bottoms cook for a minute or two, then add a small splash of water to the pan and pop the lid on. Let them steam until the prawns are cooked and the wonton wrappers are lovely and soft.
Take the lid off and let the bottoms crisp up a little.
Then finish them with chilli oil, loads more spring onion and fresh coriander.
SO GOOD!
Seriously, you have to try these. They look fancy, but they are ridiculously easy to make! xxx
